Sha Tin Junior School has an incredible team of teachers from around the world who bring a wealth of experience, passion and talents to our school. Teachers work collaboratively to plan, assess, design and facilitate learning experiences for all students both in and out of the classroom, including as extracurricular activities (ECAs).
SJS teachers are highly qualified and are all approved by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong (EDB) to deliver a holistic, high quality education to our students.
All teachers engage in regular, ongoing professional development (CPD) to keep abreast of new research and evidence-based practice. In addition, all teachers engage in professional reflection and development (PRD) processes to set goals, reflect on their practice, and take action to further their growth.
Teachers actively participate in collaborative professional inquiries that feed into our self-studies and school improvement efforts. SJS Teachers are the foundation for relevant and meaningful learning and a positive school culture.
