SJS has a highly active Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) that enriches the experiences of all students. SJS’s PTA is a collaborative organisation that brings together parents and teachers to support and enhance the educational experience of students.
The PTA serves as a platform for communication, cooperation, and involvement between parents and the school community. Its primary objectives include fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, advocating for the best interests of students, and organising various activities and events that promote educational enrichment, parent engagement, and the overall well-being of the school community.
The PTA plays a vital role in building strong relationships between parents and teachers, creating a sense of unity, and working together to create an optimal learning environment for students. SJS’s PTA has successfully organised Fun Days and the Year 6 graduation ceremonies, community service projects, and special field trips for families across Hong Kong, including the Rugby 7s. They also get involved in special learning moments, and support classroom and curricular projects, such as the Year 5 Market Day and the Year 3 Signs and Symbols projects.
SJS parents and families are key partners in their child’s wellbeing and education and we are thankful for the close partnership with our community.
